Dr. Edwin Ko received a PhD degree in Linguistics in 2023 from the University of California, Berkeley. He then served as a Lecturer in the Linguistics Department at Yale University, later joining the University of Hong Kong in 2026 as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts. By training, he is a computational historical linguist, philologist, and a linguistic fieldworker whose work engages with Indigenous communities in North America.
